About Me

Some say my first word was carburetor and I was spoon fed 10w 30 until I was old enough for solid foods. Others say I was Born in Texas and raised in Alberta with old cars permeating my thoughts.

I attended a photojournalism program at SAIT and I'm currently a photo/video guy for Driving.ca. I like 80's metal, 60's cars and 90's movies. I try to make it to cars and coffee Toronto every week so if you see a Chysler the size of Rhode Island, say hello!

If you're a real car dork, you can get a pretty good idea of who someone is by the cars they've owned. In order, here are mine. The Swift is currently my only car.
1983 Datsun 280ZX "Suzy"
1988 Pontiac Firebird Formula "Rumbly"
1989 Suzuki Swift GTi "Lily"
1966 Chevrolet Impala "Marilyn"
1969 Chrysler Newport "Peggy"

Creating content for The Life Mechanical has turned into a fun way for me to hone my writing skills and share my love of cars at the same time. I welcome criticism and advice and thanks for reading!

  1. Just ran across your blog and enjoyed reading it. Unfortunately, I see that I'm about a year too late.
